Location Appartment Lesconil

The small fishing village of LESCONIL is 30Km west of QUIMPER on the south coast of Brittany-France.
It is located in the heart of Le Pays Bigouden which constitutes the south west region along the coast (see map of the pays bigouden)

The apartment itself is located in a brand new residence facing the fishing harbour of LESCONIL, just 3 minutes walk from the beach. Fresh fish and sea food are only 5 mins walk from the door step!

Access to LESCONIL is now very easy whichever transportation mode you decide to use.

By road...
A free motorway (Voix Express) links PONT-L'ABBE to QUIMPER. A "National" road then continues to LESCONIL.

All express roads in Brittany are Free of charge and allow you to access the main french motorway system outside Brittany. There you can reach all the rest of Europe.

Once you've reached Brittany, allow 4 hours maximum to get to Lesconil (from the farthest point away).

Just to give you an idea, RENNES is 02h30 away from LESCONIL and NANTES at 03h30.

it takes around 6h00 to drive from PARIS (Approx. 600Km).

By plane... then by road...
If you would rather fly, then there are several return flights from PARIS (Orly) to QUIMPER Cornouaille airport.
The airport is located just outside QUIMPER, on the way to LESCONIL.

Once you have landed in QUIMPER Cornouaille there are many buses you can catch to reach PONT-L'ABBE then LESCONIL and other villages in le pays bigouden.

Depending on the season, return flights are made available from/to Gatwick airport and other European capitals. Also available are flights to the cities of southern France.

The other option is to fly to BREST. Only 1h30 drive north of LESCONIL, BREST is one of the major cities of Brittany.
Many return flights to PARIS (Roissy Charles de Gaulle AND Orly) are available daily. But the main advantage, is that BREST airport offers a range of cheap flights to the UK and other European countries via low cost airlines (See below for a web address).

By train... then... by road...
The railway option is not a bad one at all since there are daily direct trains to Paris-Gare Montparnasse.
With the TGV it only takes 4h10 to get to QUIMPER.
Once in QUIMPER you can catch one of the buses to reach PONT-L'ABBE then LESCONIL.
